Do your kids have muscle cramps???

If your kids are getting nasty cramps in their leg muscles, you probably need to get more magnesium and calcium in to their little bodies ! Both of these minerals are involved in relaxing nerve impulses and regulating muscle activity. Calcium is needed to contract the muscle, and magnesium is needed to relax it. An imbalance in this dynamic duo can irritate and confuse the muscle.

I have found that giving my kids one large tablespoon of Liquid Calcium Magnesium just before bed is very beneficial. You can purchase this at most any health stores, and it even comes in "yummy" flavors!

Side Note: Yes, dairy products do have calcium in them, but it is not well absorbed in the human body, despite the claims from the "Got Milk" commercials on TV. Almonds and dark green veggies have lots of calcium in them, along with many, many others which include; broccoli, collards, kale and spinach . These are much more readily absorbed into our bodies.
